On completion of the nursing program, the graduate is expected to :

• 1. Every human being has the potential to develop intellectually, psychosocially, spiritually and physically if the environment is favorable.
  2. Professional knowledge, skill and attitude can be enhanced only through higher levels of education
  3. Nursing is a profession, the essence of which is caring, caring is a science, art and vocation which is accomplished with wisdom, knowledge, skill competence and compassion.
  4. Higher education in nursing (B.Sc., P B.B.Sc., M.Sc. & Ph.D.) can empower the nurse and help her to blossom into a confident, self-reliant, responsible and professional individual who can be a source of strength to her family, community and country.
  5. The challenges of today’s sophisticated health care system can be faced only through added scientific knowledge, professional skills and the willingness to do research for betterment.
