On completion of the nursing program, the graduate is expected to :

• 1. Provide professional nursing care to individuals and families in any kind of health care setting applying scientific principles and nursing process.
  2. Demonstrate leadership qualities and management skills in problem solving and decision making at various levels of professional practice.
  3. Demonstrate basic skills in teaching, administration, supervision, research and therapeutic communication.
  4. Develop motivation for on-going learning for one’s own personal and professional improvement.
  5. Practice ethical and moral values and principles in one’s personal and professional life.
  6. Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences, medicine including alternating systems and nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
  7. Utilize the latest trends and technology in providing health care.
  8. Provide promotive, preventive, curative and restorative health services in line with the national health policies and programs.
