World Environment Day

The NSS unit of Holy Cross College of Nursing, Kottiyam organizes a World Environment Day program from  05/06/26  to 8/06/26 .We   conducted  awareness class  and theme dance based on  the theme of  Inspired by Nature. For Climate .For our  Future  at N.S.M Girls High School kottiyam on 06/06/2026.

The NSS unit of Holy Cross College of Nursing and IQAC  Kottiyam organizes a World Environment Day program on 08 June 2026 at 8:00 AM in the College Portico.

. The event aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation, the importance of biodiversity, and the need for collective action to protect nature and combat climate change.The programme was attended by the Principal, faculty members, NSS volunteers, and students. The program was officially inaugurated by Sr.Arpitha Poopady Principal, Holy Cross College of Nursing, Kottiyam, Kollam. The event began with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of World Environment Day and the responsibility of every individual to safeguard the environment. We are Conducted the quiz competition regarding environmental day and skit . As part of the celebration, Saplings were planted within the college campus as a symbol of commitment towards a greener and healthier future.

Participants actively took part in the planting activity and pledged to nurture the saplings and adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. The programme successfully promoted environmental awareness and encouraged students to become responsible citizens dedicated to sustainable development.
